Kolin Frame Data

I’m going to be using all the move names from the in-game command list to reference most of her special moves.

1. cr.HK (+25/+30/+84)

  • Kolin is +25/+30 after she lands a cr.HK (non-CC).
  • If Kolin dashes forward after a cr.HK lands, she is either +8 (quick rise) or +13 (back rise) because she has a 17F forward dash.
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash (+8) -> s.HP (+6/-1).
  • 3F Meaties (backrise) Dash (+13) -> b+HK (+3/-2).
  • If Kolin lands a crush counter cr.HK, she is +84.
  • cr.HK (Crush counter), Dash x4, whiff cr.LK (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP
  • cr. HK (Crush counter), Dash, LP Hailstorm, Dash -> cr.MP/Throw/MK Vanity Step into whatever
  • cr.HK (Crush counter), Dash, whiff s.HP, Dash, whiff s.LP (+9) -> s.HP (+7/0)
  • (4F Safejump) cr.HK -> Dash -> Whiff cr.MK -> Neutral Jump attack

2. F. Throw (+8/+57)

  • Kolin is +8 after she lands a forward throw (quick rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): s.HP (+6/-1). If you f. throw your opponent with your back to the corner, you’re closer than normal. You can link cr.MK if the s.HP crush counters.
  • (No quick rise) F. throw, whiff s.HP, whiff s.LK, b+HK (+3/-2)

3. B. Throw (+12/+71)

  • Kolin is +12 after she lands a back throw (quick rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): b+HK (+3/-2), s.HK (+8/0). The s.HK will hit crouchers in this setup but can be avoided by waking up with a crouching light button.
  • (No quick rise) B. throw, whiff b+HK, dash, whiff cr.LK (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP

4. Air Throw (+14/+63)

  • Kolin is +14 after she lands an air throw (quick rise).
  • She will be landing air throws mostly off of EX Paraballeum launch into HK vanity step, Air Throw.
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): b+HK (+3/-2)
  • (No quick rise) Air throw, whiff b+HK, dash, s.HP (+6/-1). If she crush counters with s.HP here, she is close enough to link cr.MK after.

5. HP Parabellum/VSkill Counter (+20/+25/+79)

  • Kolin is +20/+25 after she lands a HP Parabellum (quick/back rise).
  • If Kolin dashes forward after a HP Parabellum lands, she is either +3 (quick rise) or +8 (back rise) because she has a 17F forward dash.
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP
  • 3F Meaties (back rise): Dash (+8) -> s.HP (+6/-1)
  • 4F Meaty (corner only) (covers quick/back rise): Whiff s.LK -> s.HP. If the opponent quick rises, the s.HP is +5/-2 and if the opponent back rises, the s.HP is +7/0.
  • (No quick rise) Whiff s.LK, whiff s.HP, Dash, whiff cr.LK (+4) -> s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP/Delay 1F cr.LP/Throw.

6. MP Hailstorm (+25/+30/+84)

  • Kolin is +25/+30 after she lands a MP Hailstorm (quick/back rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick/back rise): Dash, s.LK*
  • * If Kolin dashes and whiffs s.LK, Kolin pushes into the Hailstorm, hitting both QR/BR. If the opponent blocks the Hailstorm, Kolin will be very plus on block. If the opponent gets hit by the Hailstorm, you confirm into cr.MP, s.LK xx.
  • (No quick rise) MP Hailstorm, Dash, whiff s.LK, whiff cr.MK -> f+MK (Hits on last active frame)
  • (No quick rise) MP Hailstorm, Dash, whiff s.LK, Dash, whiff cr.HP (+2) -> cr.LP/s.LK/cr.LK/s.MK

7. EX Parabellum, MK Vanity Step, cr.HK xx LP Hailstorm (+18/+23/+77)

  • Kolin is +18/+23 after she lands this combo (quick/back rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick/back rise): Dash, cr.MP*
  • *Against 3F chars, dash into cr.MP will get hit by wakeup 3F button but the Hailstorm will hit your opponent at the same time, allowing you to combo after anyway. Against 4F chars, dash into cr.MP will CH your opponent. The Hailstorm will hit both QR/BR. If the opponent blocks the Hailstorm, Kolin will be very plus on block.
  • (No quick rise) MP Hailstorm, Dash, whiff cr.MP, whiff VSkill (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP

8. EX Parabellum, MK Vanity Step, cr.HK xx EX Silver Edge (+35/+40/+94)

  • Kolin is +35/+40 after she lands this combo (quick/back rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash x2 -> cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK
  • 3F Meaties (back rise): Dash x2 -> cr.MP (+6/+3)/s.HP(+5/-2)
  • Against 4F chars, Dash x2 -> s.MK hits both QR/BR. If the combo will corner your opponent or put them close to the corner, Dash, Whiff s.LK (+2) -> cr.MP is a better setup and will hit both QR/BR against 4F chars.

9. s.MK s.HP VSkill TC (+19/+24/+78)

  • Kolin is +19/+24 after she lands her s.MK s.HP VSkill TC (quick/back rise).
  • If Kolin dashes forward after this TC lands, she is either +2 (quick rise) or +7 (back rise) because she has a 17F forward dash.
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash (+2) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/s.MK
  • 3F Meaties (back rise): Dash (+7) -> s.HP (+5/-2)
  • 4F Meaty (corner only) (covers quick/back rise): Dash -> cr.MP. If the opponent quick rises, the cr.MP is +5/+2 and if they back rise, the cr.MP is +7/+4 (allows for cr.HP link without CH).
  • (No quick rise): Dash, whiff cr.MP, Dash, whiff cr.MP (+2) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/s.MK

10. VTrigger (+79/+84/+138)

  • Kolin is +79/+84 after she lands a VTrigger (quick/back rise).
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash x3, whiff s.MP (+7) -> cr.MP (+7/+4). Dash x3, whiff cr.MK (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP
  • 3F Meaties (back rise): Dash x4 (+16) -> b+HK (+5/0). This setup also covers both wakeups for 4F characters (the b+HK will be +3/-2 on quick rise).

11. Low/Middle Frost Touch (+49)

  • Kolin is +49 after landing a (EX) low/middle frost touch counter. This move is unique because you can’t quick rise, back rise, or delay rise it. There’s only one set knockdown everytime. That means the oki after landing a counter is guaranteed.
  • 3F Meaties: Dash x2, whiff cr.LP (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP. Whiff 2 chained cr.LKs -> Dash -> cr.MK (+5/+3). LP Hailstorm, cr.MK (confirm Hailstorm hit into s.HP xx).
  • 3F Meaty/Pseudo 3F safe jump: Whiff jump forward attack (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP. If you land and delay your next action by 1-2F, you will bait the 3F+ reversal and still have time to meaty them if they didn’t reversal.
  • 3F Meaty with f+MK: Whiff cr.MK -> f+MK. Whiff 2 chained cr.LKs -> f+MK (Hits on last active frame).

12. High Frost Touch (+46)

  • Kolin is +49 after landing a (EX) high frost touch counter. This move is unique because you can’t quick rise, back rise, or delay rise it. There’s only one set knockdown everytime. That means the oki after landing a counter is guaranteed.
  • 3F Meaties: Dash, whiff cr.LK x2 (+3) -> Throw/cr.LP/s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP. LP Hailstorm, cr.MK (confirm Hailstorm hit into s.HP xx).
  • 3F Meaty/Pseudo 3F safe jump: Empty jump forward (+4) -> s.LP/cr.LK/cr.MP/Delay 1F cr.LP/Throw. If you land and delay your next action by 1-2F, you will bait the 3F+ reversal and still have time to meaty them if they didn’t reversal.
  • 3F Meaty with f+MK: Whiff cr.MK -> f+MK.

13. Critical Art (+26/+75)

  • Kolin is +26 after landing a critical art.
  • 3F Meaties (quick rise): Dash, s.HP (+7/0)
  • (No quick rise) CA, Dash, whiff s.HP, Dash (+12) -> b+HK (+3/-2)
